Fine Art & Photographic The purpose of our standards is to maintain the high quality of our finished products and promote confidence in the quality and life of our printed products. LightFastness We use Epson ultrachrome inks on all our archival photographic and fine art prints. These inks have the highest life rating of all Giclée inks currently on the market. UltraChrome ink offers outstanding durability, so prints are more likely to look good for longer on a wide range of paper types. The ink is highly light, gas and water resistant, resulting in a lifespan of up to 75 years in colour and over 100 years in black & white (far more than 6 on the Lightfastness Scale (Blue Wool Scale))
Since most
of our prints are mounted, we use heavy photo grade papers of 220 - 250 gsm,
with higher weights available for fine art papers if required. The artist
who owns the copyright of the print defines the maximum edition size we use.
Our own limited editions of our own copyrights are limited to 300. No part or
the whole of a print published as 'limited edition' will be reproduced in any
other form, not cards, calendars, etc. worldwide, except for the sole purpose of
promotion, eg in a brochure, sales piece etc., or in a book title, artist's and, where different, publisher's name,
the year
The purpose of our standards is to maintain the high quality of our finished products and promote confidence in the quality and life of our printed products.
LightFastness & Water resistance We use Mutoh ULTRA eco-solvent inks – which has an incredibly high (UV) fade resistance and 3 years weather proof, and scratch resistant. We only use original manufactures inks to ensure quality, colour and fade resistance
